Some of you may know that last November, that Mollys Den in Winchester had to close due to planning regulations, well I'm very excited to say that's there is a new one opening this Friday! Woo hoo!
The last couple of weeks have been a bit crazy here, I have been painting furniture like mad trying to have enough for my Mollys Den pitch in Salisbury as well as trying to get new stuff ready for the new Mollys den in Winchester. It's opening on Friday 3rd February 😬
For those of you who knew where the old Mollys Den was, it's not that far away. It is still at the Winall junction of the M3 and is based in the fabric warehouse behind Homebase, next door to a carpet shop.
At the moment there is still a lot of construction work going on with the till point being built and painted and walls going up!
It is smaller than the old Mollys Den Winchester, but it has carpet and heating which is amazing! I'm so used to wrapping up warm everytime I go in 😉 There are stil lots and lots of traders, with and upstairs as well which will have the amazing Toasted Cafe 😋 Seriously their breakfasts are the best!
The Eliza Rose pitch is towards the back of the downstairs room and is long and skinny, it's my biggest pitch to date and feels massive 😬😬
Three car loads of furniture have already made their trip there and this coming week we are creating some shelving out of apple crates and some scaffold boards which is going to look amazing!! So at the moment the stock is just being piled up whilst we build around it.
It has been lovely meeting the other new traders as once it's open you don't get to see them in the same way as you are all stocking up at different times.
Lots of the traders from the old mollys den have a pitch as well as some newbies, including my lovely friend who runs 1989 Love Home (check her out on Facebook and Instagram!)
So this week there will be more building, more stock trips and generally making it look pretty!! I will be there this Friday for the grand opening so hopefully will see some of you there!!!
