4 Days till Opening 😳

I am going to say sorry right now for not having written more posts about how the progress of the shop has been going. To be honest, it all got a bit hectic and whilst I remembered to take photos (win 👊) I ran out of time to write up what has been going on around these photos! So, with 4 days to go here is a update on where I am now...  The following day after my last post, this big extending table was moved into place. Its a beautiful pine table, which was stripped back on the top,...

Want to see what's going on in the new shop?

In the past couple of days I have been busy at the shop, the start of many busy days I feel but its been rewarding to see how much the shop has changed in such a short period of time.  The biggest change has been to the exterior, its been painted in a slate grey satin. Wickham is the second largest medieval market square in England. From the 15th century cottages to gorgeous...

Setting up Mollys Den Winchester

Some of you may know that last November, that Mollys Den in Winchester had to close due to planning regulations, well I'm very excited to say that's there is a new one opening this Friday! Woo hoo!  The last couple of weeks have been a bit crazy here, I have been painting furniture like mad trying to have enough for my Mollys Den pitch in Salisbury as well as trying to get new stuff ready for the new Mollys den in Winchester. It's opening on Friday 3rd February 😬 For those of you who knew where the old Mollys Den...

Molly's Den Salisbury

Many of you will know how much I love Mollys Den and how sad I was when the Winchester one had to shut its doors in November. It's always been good to me, with amazing customers and traders, like a warm hug on a winters day.  Back in August, I took a tour round an empty warehouse in Salisbury, (115 Tollgate Road to be precise) looking at bits of concrete floor trying to decide which bit had more potential over another.   It was a long wait then till December when it finally reached a stage that traders could move...
